“Technology... the knack of so arranging the world that we don't have to experience it.”
- Max Frisch, Homo Faber
Even though it was something that we had to read in school, Homo Faber by Max Frisch will always be one of my favorite novels. In this novel, Walter Faber, the protagonist, always films the sunsets, trying to capture their beauty. We take so many photos of sunsets, so many videos even without actually looking at these pictures afterwards (at least most of the time). It is as if we can't really appreciate the actual moment of the sunset because we are busy trying to capture its unportrayable beauty and trying to make it last forever.
